Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Position Overview Pay Range: $781,528.00-$1,636,663.00 Capital Health Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled Neurosurgeon specializing in diagnosis, surgical treatment, and management of disorders affecting the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and cerebrovascular system. This role requires advanced surgical expertise, exceptional precision, critical thinking, and the ability to work in high-pressure situations to provide lifesaving and life-improving care. Opportunity Details: Examine, diagnose, and treat patients with neurological disorders, including brain tumors, spinal cord injuries, aneurysms, stroke, and degenerative spine conditions Perform complex surgical procedures involving the brain, spine, and peripheral nerves using advanced techniques like open surgery, minimally invasive surgery, endoscopic surgery, microsurgery, radiosurgery, and endovascular surgery Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as MRIs, CT scans, and angiograms to guide treatment planning Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that may include surgery, medication, or non-surgical interventions Collaborate with neurologists, radiologists, oncologists, anesthesiologists, and other specialists to coordinate patient care Provide post-operative care, monitor recovery, and manage complications if they arise Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, risks, and recovery expectations Stay current with advancements in neurosurgery, medical technology, and best practices through continuing education and research.
