A Cherry Picker Operator, also known as an Order Picker Operator, is a vital member of the warehouse operations team responsible for operating a specialized lift truck to retrieve products from elevated storage racks. This role is crucial for efficient order fulfillment and inventory management in facilities with high-bay racking systems.

A Cherry Picker Operator, also known as an Order Picker Operator, is a vital member of the warehouse operations team responsible for operating a specialized lift truck to retrieve products from elevated storage racks. This role is crucial for efficient order fulfillment and inventory management in facilities with high-bay racking systems.
Key Responsibilities
- High-Level Order Picking: Accurately picking orders and checking orders from shelves up to 25 feet in the air to load trucks.
- Inventory Control: Scanning and documenting inventory movements to ensure accurate stock records.
- Equipment Operation: Conducting pre-shift inspections and safely maneuvering the cherry picker in narrow aisles and elevated positions.
- Safety Adherence: Following all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience using Cherry Picker forklift (required)
- At least 1 year of experience with electric pallet jack and sit-down forklift (required)
- Able to work the hours of 4:30PM – 1:15AM Monday - Friday
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Familiarity with electrical products is a plus.
