Description:
As a telephone betting clerk, you will provide outstanding customer service ensuring accurate bets for our customers. Wages are based on the union contract.
Responsibilities:
- Accountability for operations
- Selling horseracing bets via phone for patrons
- Accurately communicate information.
- Ability to work with the public and provide friendly and courteous service
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Experience in handling and being accountable for money.
Skills & Abilities:
- Positive attitude and solid work ethic
- Strong attention to detail
- Eager to learn and able to take direction well
- Excellent customer service abilities
- Knowledge of racing terms is a plus
