Capital District Beginnings is an educational agency providing services for pre-school children with special needs in the Capital District. Capital District Beginnings is currently seeking floating support. Must be available to float between seven self-contained sites based on the daily need.
We currently serve and have openings in the following counties:
Albany
Rensselaer
Saratoga
Schenectady
As a Beginnings’ Floating Substitute, you will work closely with the Special Education Teachers, therapists, TA's and 1:1's in our preschool programs. In this position you will work directly with children ages 2-5 years-old Beginnings five-hour program day and then participate in classroom meetings, professional development, preparation, cleaning and planning with the classroom team.
The hours for this position are Monday-Friday with a variable schedule based on classroom site ranging between the hours of 8:00am - 2:00pm, and follows a school calendar including a six-week summer program.
