Job Summary:
As a Sterile Technician, you will be responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, and preparing dental instruments and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient clinical environment. You will help maintain infection control standards, organize supplies, and support the dental teams in delivering quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
Organization and management of all sterile supplies, instruments, equipment and patient parts Prepare all Instrumentation for decontamination & sterilization processing
Ensure all Instrumentation has the following:
- All instruments are properly secured in the cassette
- All items that do not belong should be removed prior to processing
- All Instrumentation has proper color code indicators (sterile area & procedure type are the 2 color indicators used, please see corresponding sterile chart)
- Each instrument has been inspected prior to running through the Hydrim washer, all physical debris must be removed with a steel instrument brush and rinsed prior to loading.
- All pouches and wrapped cassettes are date stamped and tape indicating sterilizer & sterile ran in.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of dental terminology, dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations

- X-ray certificate required
- BLS certificate
- Infection Control
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand up to 10 hours per day
- Ability to twist and turn, if needed
- Repetitive Motion (hands)
- Handling (grasping, holding)
- Lifting/Carrying (up to 10lbs)
- Pushing/Pulling (up to 10lbs)
Schedule:
- 4 days per week, 10 hours a day
- Sunday-Wednesday & Wednesday-Saturday
Compensation:
$17.50-$23.00 (doe) bonus opportunity
Pay: $17.50 - $23.00 per hour
