HVAC Lead Installer / HVAC Technician (Residential)

Capital Heating, Cooling, Electric & Plumbing is hiring an experienced HVAC Lead Installer / HVAC Technician to join our growing Milwaukee team. HVAC Lead Installer Responsibilities

• Lead residential HVAC installation projects

• Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and boiler systems

• Read and interpret installation drawings and system layouts

• Ensure all HVAC installations meet local and state mechanical codes

• Test, balance, and troubleshoot HVAC systems

• Train and supervise HVAC helpers and junior installers

• Maintain strong safety standards and quality workmanship

• Provide excellent customer service during installations

HVAC Installer Requirements

• 2 years of HVAC installation experience

• EPA Universal Certification

• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record

• Ability to pass background check and drug screen

• High school diploma or equivalent

Strong knowledge of:

• Refrigerant systems

• Gas furnaces and electric furnaces

• Heat pumps

• Air conditioning systems

• Boiler systems

• Ductwork design and installation

• HVAC low-voltage systems

Additional qualifications:

• Ability to complete installations independently or lead a team

• Ability to train and supervise others

• Ability to test and balance HVAC systems

• Ability to obtain and maintain NATE Installer Certifications

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

• Ability to understand and apply residential HVAC codes
