Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to join our team and drive the successful execution of complex infrastructure projects. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between project management, contractors, vendors, and field teams, ensuring seamless coordination across all phases of construction. Your expertise in construction scheduling, budget management, and regulatory compliance will help deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead project activities, manage resources effectively, and contribute to the development of critical infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate project schedules using industry-standard software to ensure timely completion of construction phases.
- Review and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and contracts to facilitate accurate execution of project specifications.
- Facilitate communication among stakeholders by preparing progress reports, updating project schedules, and documenting project milestones.
- Project documentation, contracts, subcontracts, COIs, W-9s and lien waivers
- Permit and inspection scheduling/tracking
- Subcontractor scheduling and follow-up
- Material/equipment delivery coordination
- Project schedules and weekly status updates
- Pay applications and subcontractor invoice organization
- Landlord/property-management paperwork
- Maintaining project folders, drawings and closeout documents
- Drafting routine project emails and following up with vendors/subcontractors
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction site management or project coordination within commercial or infrastructure projects.
- Strong proficiency with construction scheduling software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), Bluebeam, and other project management tools.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and cost management practices.
- Familiarity with construction regulations, safety standards, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction plans.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail; excellent time management skills are essential.
- Demonstrated experience managing teams in a construction management role with a focus on project scheduling and coordination.
- Strong understanding of contract administration, regulatory compliance requirements, and construction site safety protocols.
