Appraisal Reviewer - Capital City Home Loans
Hours: Mon- Fri 40 Hours
General Summary
Appraiser Reviewer is responsible for the review of 1–4-unit residential real estate appraisals for technical requirements and reasonableness of appraisal conclusions.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Review of 1–4-unit residential real estate appraisals received from external appraisers to ensure compliance with USPAP, agency/investor guidelines and internal policies.
- Facilitate requests for reconsideration of value to external appraisers with appropriate documentation.
- Act as liaison between external appraisers and internal staff for purposes of requesting clarifications and additional information regarding appraisal report.
- Research additional comp and subject property data when necessary.

Associated Duties
Provides additional support to manager and department colleagues.
Completes all assigned/required Bank training within established timelines.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) Required
The following KSAs are usually acquired through work experience and/or specialized course(s):
- Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of real estate value trends and property developments.
- Knowledge of USPAP and agency/investor appraisal guidelines.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Ability to maintain high level of service during peak periods.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate or Finance preferred. State Certified Real Estate Appraiser License; two years review appraisal experience. Prior experience as a Mortgage processor or Underwriter is a plus. Relevant experience may substitute for the education requirement.
