Job Title: General Dentist
Location: Upper Marlboro, MD
Position Overview:
We are seeing a skilled and compassionate General Dentist with experience in treating teenagers and adults to join our team at CCSC. As a General Dentist, you will play a vital role in providing specialized dental care to children /adolescents and adults, ensuring their oral health needs are met with exceptional care and attention.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive dental examination and assessments for pediatric patients.
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions in children, including cavities, gum disease, and malocclusions.
- Perform restorative procedures; such as fillings, crowns, and extractions, as needed.
- Collaborate with dental and medical professionals to ensure efficient patient care.
- Educate patients and their parents/ guardians about proper oral hygiene and preventive measures.
- Create treatment plans tailored to each child's unique dental needs.
- Address dental emergencies promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree
- Pediatric experience
- Current state dental license and DEA registration. (Or ability to obtain.)
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
- CPR and basic life support certification.
