The Workday Integrations Lead is responsible for leading the design, architecture, implementation, and support of enterprise Workday integration solutions for clients. This role serves as the primary integration advisor, partnering with client stakeholders, Workday functional teams, and technical resources to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing integration solutions across HR, Payroll, Finance, Benefits, Recruiting, and third-party applications.
The ideal candidate combines deep Workday integration expertise with strong consulting, leadership, and client-facing skills to drive successful Workday transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Integration Strategy & Solution Architecture:
Lead integration design and architecture for Workday implementation and optimization projects.
Define end-to-end integration strategies, roadmaps, and best practices.
Assess client business and technical requirements and recommend scalable solutions.
Review existing integration landscapes and identify opportunities for modernization and automation.
Establish integration standards, governance, and development methodologies.
Workday Integration Delivery:
Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of Workday integrations.
Architect solutions using:
Workday Studio
Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
Core Connectors
Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs)
Cloud Connect integrations
Document Transformation
Workday Extend integrations
Ensure integration performance, reliability, security, and scalability.
Oversee migration activities between implementation, testing, and production environments.
Client Consulting & Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the trusted advisor for client integration initiatives.
Facilitate discovery workshops and technical design sessions.
Communicate technical concepts to business and executive stakeholders.
Manage client expectations, risks, dependencies, and project deliverables.
Provide recommendations on Workday integration best practices.
Leadership & Team Management:
Lead integration consultants, developers, and offshore teams.
Conduct design reviews and code reviews.
Mentor junior integration resources.
Support resource planning, estimation, and project staffing.
Promote knowledge sharing and technical excellence across project teams.
Project Delivery & Quality Assurance:
Create integration design documents and technical specifications.
Define testing strategies, validation procedures, and deployment plans.
Support SIT, UAT, and production readiness activities.
Troubleshoot complex integration issues and provide root-cause analysis.
Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
Business Development & Practice Growth:
Contribute to solution proposals, RFP responses, and client presentations.
Support pre-sales activities and integration assessments.
Develop reusable integration frameworks and accelerators.
Strengthen Workday integration practice capabilities and methodologies.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
7 years of HRIS or enterprise integration experience.
5 years of Workday Integration experience.
Experience leading multiple full-cycle Workday implementations.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $47.15/hour - $73.68/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
