The Workday Consultant - Reporting serves as a trusted advisor to clients, leading the design, implementation, and optimization of Workday reporting and analytics solutions. This role combines deep Workday functional expertise with technical reporting capabilities to help organizations leverage workforce data for strategic decision-making. The consultant collaborates with client stakeholders, project teams, and Workday partners to deliver scalable reporting solutions that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Consulting & Advisory:
Partner with client HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT leaders to understand business challenges and reporting requirements.
Provide strategic guidance on Workday reporting best practices and analytics capabilities.
Lead client workshops, discovery sessions, and solution design discussions.
Translate business requirements into effective Workday reporting solutions.
Workday Reporting Solutions:
Design and develop Advanced, Matrix, Composite, Trending, and Dashboard reports.
Build complex calculated fields and reporting frameworks.
Develop Executive Dashboards, KPIs, Scorecards, and Workforce Analytics.
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across reporting solutions.
Support Workday Prism Analytics and Discovery Boards initiatives.
Functional & Technical Leadership:
Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday HCM business processes and reporting architecture.
Configure Workday reporting security and data access controls.
Support integrations utilizing RaaS, EIBs, and Workday APIs.
Provide recommendations for process improvements and reporting automation.
Project Delivery:
Lead reporting workstreams during Workday implementation and enhancement projects.
Manage deliverables, timelines, risks, and client expectations.
Conduct unit testing, user acceptance testing, and production validation.
Support Workday release management and client adoption activities.
Relationship Management:
Build strong relationships with client executives and key stakeholders.
Mentor junior consultants and reporting analysts.
Deliver user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer sessions.
Contribute to business development initiatives and proposal support activities.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
5 years of Workday experience with a strong focus on Reporting and Analytics.
Experience participating in multiple Workday implementations or optimization projects.
Strong expertise in Workday Reporting, Calculated Fields, and Security.
Experience working directly with clients in a consulting environment.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Workday Reporting Certification.
Workday HCM Certification.
Experience with Prism Analytics and Discovery Boards.
Experience with Workday Integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, APIs).
Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other analytics platforms.
Prior experience leading client-facing workstreams.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $47.15/hour - $73.68/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
