The Senior SharePoint Migration Developer will contribute to SharePoint Online to SharePoint Online (SPO, SPO) migration programs, with a focus on execution of site migrations, Power Platform solution development, and cross tenant migrations. The role requires strong hands-on experience with SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, and ShareGate, working under the guidance of a SharePoint Lead or Architect.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to SharePoint Online to SharePoint Online migration projects, including migration of sites, lists, libraries, and custom Power Platform solutions (Power Apps and Power Automate flows).
Design, build, and enhance Power Platform based solutions integrated with SharePoint Online.
Develop Canvas Apps and Model Driven Apps using Power Apps to meet business and technical requirements.
Perform packaging, exporting, importing, and deployment of Power Platform solutions within and across SharePoint Online tenants.
Configure and manage SharePoint Online and Power Platform environments through respective administration portals.
Support Microsoft Teams and M365 Groups cross tenant migration activities, including validation and issue resolution.
Execute SharePoint migrations using ShareGate, including content assessment, migration execution, validation, and post migration fixes.
Work closely with the SharePoint Lead, M365 developers, and client stakeholders to understand requirements and follow defined migration processes.
Assist with testing, defect resolution, and post migration support to ensure a smooth transition for end users.
Document technical configurations, migration steps, and deployment procedures as per company's delivery standards.
Required Skills & Experience:
Technical Skills:
5 to 7 years of hands-on experience working on SharePoint Online to SharePoint Online migration projects.
Strong development experience with Power Platform:
o Power Apps (Canvas and Model Driven Apps)
o Power Automate (cloud flows)
Experience in Power Platform solution lifecycle management, including packaging and cross tenant deployments.
Hands on experience with SharePoint Online administration and Power Platform Admin Center.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams and M365 Groups, especially in migration scenarios.
Practical experience using ShareGate for SharePoint Online migrations.
Good understanding of Microsoft 365 security, permissions, and governance concepts.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively in onshore offshore delivery models.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Ability to follow defined processes and collaborate with leads and client teams.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $30.05/hour - $46.95/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
