We are seeking an experienced AEM Solutions Lead to design, develop, and maintain scalable Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions.
This role involves acting as a bridge between technical execution and business, leading development efforts, ensuring platform performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
Oversee platform governance and guide development teams to ensure successful digital transformations.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design:
Lead the architectural design and implementation of AEM Sites, AEM Assets (DAM), and integrations with the broader Adobe Experience Cloud.
Technical Leadership:
Guide and mentor development teams, conduct code reviews, and enforce AEM development best practices (Java, Sling, OSGi, HTL).
Translate business requirements into technical solutions, oversee platform governance, and guide development teams to ensure successful digital transformations.
Design, develop, and maintain AEM components, templates, workflows, and integrations. Lead and promote best practices in AEM development, DevOps, and Agile methodologies.
Client & Stakeholder Alignment:
Act as a strategic technical advisor, leading requirement-gathering workshops and aligning technical solutions with business goals.
Work with stakeholders across product, UX, content, and engineering teams. Advise leadership on architectural tradeoffs, technical debt, and the long-term implications of platform decisions.
Governance & Performance:
Establish guidelines for templates, component structures, user roles, caching strategies (Dispatcher), and platform scalability. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
Ensure platform stability, performance, and scalability across environments. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Dispatcher configuration, caching, and system performance. Support CI/CD pipelines, including automated builds, deployments, and testing. Monitor application health and implement observability and diagnostic solutions.
Integration Strategy:
Oversee the integration of AEM with third-party platforms such as CRMs, Marketing Automation tools, and custom APIs.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: 8 - 10 years of hands-on AEM experience and 4 years leading technical implementations or architecture, ideally with exposure to AEM as a Cloud Service.
Experience in migrating from another CMS platform to Adobe AEM as Cloud Services.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong hands-on experience with AEM Sites, Assets, Sling Jobs, and workflows.
Deep understanding of Java, Sling, OSGI, HTL (Sightly), HTML, JavaScript frameworks, CSS, CI/CD DevOps pipelines, and modern web application development.
Strong knowledge of Dispatcher configuration, caching strategies, and performance tuning
Experience with AEM Cloud Service and on-premises deployments
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins, or similar DevOps tools
Proven experience troubleshooting and resolving production issues in AEM environments
Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring developers, and conducting code reviews
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools Communication: Exceptional client-facing and team-leadership skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience integrating with Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics with AEM
Familiarity with content delivery networks such as Akamai
Experience with translation tools such as Smartling or TransPerfect
Experience with search platforms such as Coveo or Solr
