Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or similar
5+ years primarily in consumer electronics and similar products
Advanced solid/surface modeling, SolidWorks preferred
DFM/DFA across injection molding, sheet metal stamping, machining, and casting
Vendor-ready documentation: 3D CAD, 2D drawings, BOMs, assembly instructions
Prototyping (3D printing, casting, rapid tooling) plus hands-on electronics/firmware prototyping
Confident client-facing presentation and storytelling
Roles and Responsibilities:
Owns mechanical engineering activities autonomously across interdisciplinary projects, from concept through design-for-manufacturability to production
Leads client conversations within their domain, framing trade-offs to guide client choices
Mentors junior engineers and contributes to the global engineering community of practice
Opportunity to lead small project teams and contribute to business development (proposals, pitches)
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $60.29/hour - $94.21/hour. Our offered benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
