Senior Grafana Engineer

Senior Grafana Engineer responsible for enterprise observability platform engineering, Grafana Cloud migration, OpenTelemetry adoption, automation, integrations, production support, and operational excellence across AWS and hybrid environments.

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead Grafana Cloud platform engineering and migration from New Relic.

• Design enterprise observability architecture using Grafana Alloy, OpenTelemetry, Mimir, Loki, Tempo, and IRM.

• Develop dashboards, alerts, service health views, SLIs, SLOs, and operational reporting.

• Support production readiness, incident management, MTTR reduction, and operational excellence.

• Create runbooks, onboarding standards, and reusable observability templates.

• Grafana Cloud

• Grafana Scenes

• PromQL, LogQL, TraceQL

• Executive and technical dashboard UX

• Grafana Alloy and OpenTelemetry instrumentation patterns
  

AWS & Platform Engineering:

• AWS, ECS, Fargate, EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch

• Hybrid cloud and on-prem observability

• AWS Systems Manager (SSM)

• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD automation
  

Integration Experience:

• ServiceNow ITSM integration

• ServiceNow CMDB integration and service mapping

• PagerDuty incident management integration

• Slack and ChatOps integrations

• AWS Cost Explorer and FinOps dashboards

• Snowflake analytics integration

• dbt data model integration

• REST APIs, webhooks, and enterprise platform integrations
  

Automation & AI:

• Python development and automation

• Data pipelines and telemetry enrichment

• Model Context Protocol (MCP)

• LLM integrations and agentic workflows

• AI-assisted incident analysis and operational intelligence

Security:

• CyberArk integration

• Secrets management and IAM governance

• Secure observability platform administration

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $48.54/hour - $75.85/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
