We are looking for an SDET with a strong engineering mindset to join our product development team
This role sits at the intersection of product understanding test design and software engineering working closely with developers DevOps and product managers on a mission critical cybersecurity SaaS platform
The ideal candidate is not a button clicker but someone who can read specifications reason about system behavior anticipate edge cases build reliable automation and make quality a first class concern from day one of every sprint
What You Will Do:
Design build and maintain structured test cases derived from product specifications acceptance criteria and technical designs
Translate product requirements and implementation logic into meaningful test coverage including edge cases state transitions and negative scenarios
Architect develop and maintain scalable reusable automated test suites with a strong focus on API integration and end to end testing using Playwright
Actively analyze defects
Reproduce issues reliably
Investigate root causes across UI API and backend layers
Provide actionable insights to developers
Ensure test work is visible and traceable within the development lifecycle by linking test cases execution results and defects to requirements development tasks and releases
Participate in refinement grooming and release discussions to ensure quality is built in early
Maintain accurate and up to date test documentation and execution results in TestRail and Playwright
What Were Looking For:
Core Skills Mindset
3-6 years of experience in software quality engineering with a clear shift toward automation and test engineering
Strong analytical and systems thinking skills
Ability to craft test cases from specifications
Comfortable reasoning about
Data flows
State transitions
Business rules
Failure modes
Confidence in debugging and issue analysis including reading logs inspecting API responses and isolating root causes
Clear communicator who can explain why something fails not just that it fails
Automation Engineering
Hands-on experience building and maintaining automation frameworks with Playwright strongly preferred
Proficiency in API and integration testing Postman RestAssured or similar
Solid programming skills in JavaScript strongly preferred
Experience with CICD pipelines and test execution orchestration GitHub Actions GitLab CICD
Understanding of middle tier testing APIs interacting directly with databases and external services

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $18.89/hour - $29.52/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
