Key Responsibilities:
Design and document integration architecture between SAP EWM and XPS systems (Manhattan XPS, Metapack, ShipERP, Pitney Bowes, etc.).
Configure SAP EWM outbound/inbound processes, packing, staging, RF flows, warehouse orders, queues, and shipping-related settings.
Develop and support integration via IDoc, qRFC, BAPIs, SOAP/REST APIs, SAP PI/PO/CPI.
Enable XPS operations such as:
Carrier rate shopping
Shipping label generation (FedEx/UPS/DHL, GS1/SSCC)
Tracking number exchange
Manifest creation
Coordinate with ABAP, middleware, and third-party XPS teams for interface development and enhancements.
Lead integration testing (Unit, SIT, E2E, UAT) and validate message mapping, error handling, label formats, and RF scanning flows.
Drive cutover, go live readiness, deployment, and hypercare support for warehouse/XPS integrations.
Troubleshoot integration failures, printing issues, and operational bottlenecks.
Partner with business (Warehouse, Logistics, Transportation) and cross-functional SAP teams (MM, SD, TM) to ensure process alignment.
Required Skills & Experience:
5-10 years of SAP EWM implementation experience (depending on seniority).
Strong hands-on knowledge of EWM outbound, pick/pack/ship, PPF actions, WOCR, and label printing.
Experience integrating EWM with XPS/WES/WCS solutions.
Proficiency in SAP integration technologies: IDoc, RFC/qRFC, Web Services, APIs, CPI/PI/PO.
Understanding of shipping compliance, carrier label formats, and GS1 standards.
Strong debugging, message monitoring, and issue resolution skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
SAP S/4HANA EWM exposure.
Working knowledge of SAP SD/TM shipping processes.
Experience with automation systems (conveyors, sorters, robotics), barcoding, and RF devices.
SAP EWM certification.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $66.69/hour - $104.20/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
