What are the responsibilities and job description for the SAP ABAP Consultant (contract) position at Capgemini?
- Should have 6 years of experience in ABAP.
- Should have at least one full life cycle SAP ABAP end-to-end implementation, including at least one with ECC 6.0, and a minimum of 6 years of experience in Production Support.
- Must have participated in 2–3 Support and Rollout project cycles.
- Should have worked on ECC-to-S/4HANA migration projects and data cleansing activities.
- Ability to coordinate and interact with multiple teams.
- Should have strong hands-on knowledge in ABAP technologies, including:
- OO ALV Reports
- Forms: Smart Forms, Adobe Forms (optional)
- Enhancement Framework (BADI, Enhancement Spots, User Exits), Module Pool
- IDocs, BDC, RFC
- ABAP Workflow
- Should have strong debugging skills and experience supporting incident tickets and service requests.
- Responsible for detailed technical analysis of SAP developments, ranging from small enhancements to complex developments.
- Must have good written and oral communication skills for interaction with multinational clients and teams.
- Ability to explain complex technical constructs to business and non-technical users.
