Job Description
- Architect and evolve real-time data platforms using technologies such as Kafka, Flink, Spark Streaming, Pulsar, or similar.
- Define and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and governance for real-time systems.
- Define Kafka topic strategies, schema evolution, and stream processing patterns
- Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and performance
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and business teams to align solutions with strategic goals
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship across the CoE
- Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to platform evolution
- Ensure platform reliability, observability, and performance at scale.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
- Lead design reviews, proof-of-concepts, and technical deep-dives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 12-15 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in real-time or streaming data platforms (Kafka preferred)
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, messaging systems, and stream processing frameworks.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and infrastructure as code.

Salary Information:
Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. The disclosed range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more or less than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future. The disclosed range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, geographic location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is - $135000 to $145000/yearly.
This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.

Salary : $135,000 - $145,000
