About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled SDET to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in test automation, API testing, and framework development, ensuring high-quality software delivery through robust testing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web and API testing.
- Implement automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver for UI testing.
- Perform API testing using Rest Assured and validate responses against business requirements.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices in test automation.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
- Continuously improve automation processes and tools.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Java.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
- Expertise in API testing using Rest Assured or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of HTTP, JSON, XML, and web services.
- Experience with TestNG/JUnit frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, or Gradle.
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber is a plus).
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
