We are seeking a skilled Kubernetes Application Support Engineer to manage monitor troubleshoot and optimize containerized applications running on Kubernetes clusters The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with container orchestration cloud platforms CICD pipelines and production support processes
Key Responsibilities:
Provide L2L3 production support for containerized applications running on Kubernetes
Monitor cluster and application health using tools like Prometheus Grafana and ELK stack
Troubleshoot application pod node and networking issues in Kubernetes environments
Manage deployments using Helm charts Argo CD or CICD pipelines
Perform root cause analysis RCA for incidents and implement preventive measures
Work closely with DevOps and development teams for release management and environment stability
Manage scaling resource optimization and performance tuning of workloads
Handle Kubernetes upgrades patching and cluster maintenance
Implement and maintain security best practices RBAC Network Policies Secrets management
Maintain documentation runbooks and SOPs
Required Skills Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes K8s architecture and components
Experience with containerization tools like Docker
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as:
Microsoft Azure AKS
Google Cloud GKE
Experience with CICD tools Jenkins GitLab CI GitHub Actions
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code Terraform CloudFormation
Knowledge of Linux system administration
Understanding of networking concepts Ingress Services DNS Load Balancers
Experience with monitoring logging tools:

Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work in 24/7 support rotation if required
