The Test Lead will be responsible for planning leading and executing end to end testing activities for Property Casualty PC Insurance Billing systems with strong hands-on expertise in Majesco Billing This role ensures that billing solutions meet business requirements quality standards and regulatory expectations before production release
The Test Lead will manage testing across functional integration system and user acceptance phases while coordinating with business analysts developers and stakeholders The role also involves mentoring test team members and driving best practices in test governance and quality assurance
Key Responsibilities:
Test Strategy Planning:
Define and own the overall test strategy approach and scope for Majesco Billing implementations and enhancements
Develop detailed test plans test schedules and resource plans aligned with project timelines
Identify testing risks dependencies and mitigation strategies
Test Execution Management:
Lead execution of functional system integration regression and UAT support testing for Majesco Billing
Ensure thorough testing of PC Billing processes including
Premium billing and invoicing
Installment plans and payment processing
Endorsements cancellations reinstatements and refunds
Billing adjustments fees and writeoffs
Manage defect tracking prioritization root cause analysis and closure
Coordinate test cycles with development and release teams
Majesco Billing Domain Expertise:
Act as an SME for Majesco Billing functionality and configuration from a testing and validation perspective
Validate billing rules workflows integrations and data flow across upstream and downstream systems Policy GL Reporting
Ensure testing coverage aligns with state regulations compliance requirements and audit standards
Team Leadership Stakeholder Collaboration:
Lead and mentor QAtest team members assigning tasks and monitoring progress
Collaborate closely with Business Analysts Developers and Product Owners to clarify requirements and expected outcomes
Facilitate test status reviews defect triage calls and UAT walkthroughs with business stakeholders
Documentation Quality Governance:
Review and approve test cases test scripts and traceability matrices
Ensure alignment with organizational QA standards and best practices
Provide test metrics dashboards and quality status reports to leadership
Required Skills Experience:
Experience:
8-12 years of experience in software testing with at least 35 years in a Test Lead or QA Lead role
Strong hands-on experience testing Majesco Billing systems
Proven experience in PC Insurance Billing domain
Technical Functional Skills:
Deep understanding of PC billing lifecycle and business processes
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools
Strong knowledge of test methodologies Agile Waterfall Hybrid
Experience validating data using SQL and database queries
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership and team management capabilities
