Basic Purpose:
Responsible for building and maintaining Enterprise Analytics solutions supporting the NVS reservation ecosystem. Responsibilities include database development, data modeling, performance optimization, data integration, reporting, and dashboard development. The role supports the design, implementation, and maintenance of data and reporting solutions used by internal business teams.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage and support analytical content for the O&R teams related to reservation, guest, and operational data
Support the design and development of data storage, data models, and reporting structures used for Enterprise Analytics solutions.
Design and develop highly visual, interactive, and layered Enterprise Analytics solutions using Tableau and Business Objects (Explorer, Information Design Tool (IDT), Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, Analysis for OLAP and Dashboards).
Triage requests, gather user requirements, and facilitate ad hoc report and data requests with quick turnaround times, or develop production reports originating from the data warehouse.
Construct SQL queries, views, and stored procedures using Microsoft SQL Server and Snowflake to support business reporting and Enterprise Analytics platforms.
Assist with data preparation, transformation, and integration activities required to support analytics and reporting solutions.
Provide application support to internal users of Enterprise Analytics applications across shore-side departments.
Define and document processes, best practices, and strategies for Enterprise Analytics solutions to improve reporting efficiency and consistency.
Assist in educating users on available Enterprise Analytics platforms and reporting capabilities.
Design test plans, including definition of test cases and the creation of detailed solution test scripts to validate data accuracy and reporting results.
Act as a liaison between business users, management, and IT support teams for analytics and reporting solutions.
Maintain documentation of database workflows, reporting requirements, policies, and procedures related to Enterprise Analytics solutions.
Prepare and assist with presentations related to analytical findings and reporting insights when requested by management.
Support the creation and implementation of data standards and processes to ensure consistent data definitions and data quality.
Assist business and IT teams with exception reporting and help identify and resolve data discrepancies.
Knowledge and experience:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering,
Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field of study; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
Experience:
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Information Technology, Enterprise Analytics, or business intelligence development.
Experience developing data visualizations, end user reports, and dashboards using Enterprise Analytics platforms such as Tableau and Business Objects.
Strong ability to use SQL for analyzing and transforming data using Microsoft SQL Server and Snowflake.
Experience working with relational database systems and supporting analytics solutions connected to operational platforms such as reservation systems.
Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and data warehousing concepts is preferred.
Knowledge & skills:
Strong background developing data visualizations, end user reports, and performing data analysis.
Strong understanding of information display and dashboard design.
Fundamental understanding of data management systems including source systems, data feeds, ETL processes, data warehouses, and reporting layers.
Strong SQL skills and relational database knowledge.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills for gathering and documenting business requirements.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for preparing specifications and collaborating with internal and external teams.
Excellent logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Self-motivated, quality-oriented, and able to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $41.61/hour - $65.01/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
