We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler with deep expertise in Snowflake and a strong understanding of commercial data domains derived from SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable, high-performance data models that support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives across commercial functions such as sales, marketing, and finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models in Snowflake.
- Translate SAP S/4HANA commercial data structures into analytics-ready models.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
- Ensure data models support performance, scalability, and data governance standards.
- Work closely with data engineers to implement and optimize data pipelines.
- Maintain documentation and metadata for data models and transformations.
- Support data quality, lineage, and validation efforts.
Must-Have Skills:
- 5 years of experience in data modeling or data architecture roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake data platform.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA commercial modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI).
- Proven ability to model complex datasets for analytics and reporting.
- Proficiency in SQL and data modeling tools (e.g., ER/Studio, ERwin, dbt).
- Understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas).
- Experience working with large-scale enterprise data and data integration.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with SAP BW/4HANA or SAP Data Services.
- Familiarity with data cataloging and governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation).
- Knowledge of Python or dbt for data transformation.
- Snowflake certification (e.g., SnowPro Advanced Architect).
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $53.16/hour - $83.07/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
