For this role, the gross annual base salary range is $80420 to $106050 for a full-time position. This range covers base pay only; we will discuss any bonuses, incentives, and benefits during the hiring process. If a collective labour agreement applies to this role, we will share the relevant pay scale details with you. Note: We never ask about your current or past salary during our recruitment process.
About The Role
- The Engineering team is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer.
- This role involves the data analysis, ETL, and ingestion of data along with the opportunity to analyze and draw key insights from collected data.
- The ideal candidate will have strong experience with SQL Managed Instances in cloud, as well as a solid understanding of modern data engineering best practices and experience in Agile software delivery.
- You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and solutions for the provision of data and insights to critical applications across multiple areas of the organization.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality data pipelines and solutions for core applications.
- 6 to 9 years of data engineering experience with proficiency in database technologies like Postgres and SQLServer.
- Perform comprehensive data analysis to support business requirements.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using Java.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient data ingestions and delivery.
- Passion for data engineering and a commitment to excellence.
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Strong experience with SQLServer and Postgres.
- Experience working in a CI/CD environment with tools like Git SCM, Jenkins, and Docker.
- Familiarity with Agile practices and experience delivering data solutions in an Agile environment.
