We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer (Conversion Specialist) with strong expertise in Informatica Cloud (IICS/IDMC), HVR, and Informatica PowerCenter Platform Administration. The ideal candidate will lead modernization and conversion projects, ensuring seamless migration from PowerCenter to IDMC while maintaining data integrity and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full life-cycle PowerCenter-to-IDMC modernization/conversion projects as a conversion specialist.
- Administer and manage Informatica PowerCenter, IICS/IDMC, and related platforms.
- Utilize PC2CDI tools or RPA for efficient migration and automation.
- Implement and optimize data loading strategies, including CDC (Change Data Capture) and key calculations for insert/update operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful data integration and transformation.
- Provide technical guidance and best practices for data management and migration.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data conversion and integration processes.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10 years of experience in IT with a strong focus on Data Management.
- 5 years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
- 3 years of experience in IDMC CDI.
- Proven experience in at least one full life-cycle PC-to-IDMC modernization/conversion project as a lead conversion specialist.
- Proficiency with PC2CDI tools or RPA for migration.
- IDMC certification or bootcamp training is required.
- Strong understanding of CDC concepts and data loading strategies.
- SQL mastery for data analysis and transformation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the Financial domain is highly desirable.
