We are looking for a mid senior Technical Data Business Analyst with strong SQL and SSIS expertise to support migration of legacy SSIS ETL pipelines to Azure Data Factory ADF and Databricks The core of this role is to reverse engineer SSIS packages and SQL transformations and produce developer ready mapping and functional specification documents so engineering teams can rebuild pipelines accurately in ADF Databricks
Key Responsibilities:
Reverse engineer SSIS control data flows SQL stored procedures views configs and dependencies
Create source to target mapping STTM docs with field level transformation logic and business rules
Translate existing logic into ADF Databricks implementation guidance orchestration incremental loads error handling audit patterns
Document data lineage across Snowflake on prem staging curated Databricks
Partner with stakeholders business actuary claims ops data engineering to validate business rules and define acceptance criteria
Define reconciliation checks and test plans to validate parity between SSIS and rebuilt pipelines
Required Skills:
Advanced SQL complex joins CTEs window functions performance aware logic
Hands-on experience analyzing and documenting SSIS packages Derived Column Lookup Conditional Split Merge Join Aggregate Script
Proven ability to produce mapping spec documents that developers can build from with minimal back and forth
Strong understanding of ETL concepts incremental full loads SCD deduping data quality rules audit columns error handling
Preferred nice to Have:
Familiarity with ADF pipelines Databricks Delta Lake medallion architecture Unity Catalog
Experience with Snowflake as a source and on prem connectivity patterns Selfhosted IR

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $35.60/hour - $55.62/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
