We are seeking an experienced Azure Developer to design, develop, and maintain cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure Function Apps, Azure Service Bus, and microservices-based architectures, and the ability to work closely with .NET-based applications. This role requires strong collaboration skills to work alongside .NET teams in delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Azure Function Apps for serverless workloads
Build and integrate event-driven and message-based solutions using Azure Service Bus
Develop and support Azure-based microservices, ensuring scalability and resilience
Collaborate closely with .NET application teams to ensure seamless integration between cloud services and backend systems
Implement APIs, background processing, and integration workflows in Azure
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Azure services for performance, reliability, and cost
Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to cloud solution design
Follow best practices for CI/CD, security, logging, and monitoring in Azure
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Required Skills & Qualifications:
10 years of software development experience
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
Proven expertise in: Azure Function Apps, Azure Service Bus, Azure-based microservices architecture
Solid experience working with .NET / .NET Core applications
Experience with REST APIs and asynchronous messaging patterns
Good understanding of cloud-native concepts such as scalability, resiliency, and fault tolerance
Familiarity with Azure monitoring and logging tools (Application Insights, Azure Monitor)
Experience with source control and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar)
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to Have:
Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
Exposure to API Management, Azure Storage, or Azure App Services
Knowledge of security best practices in Azure (Managed Identity, RBAC)
Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
Azure certifications (AZ-204, AZ-305) are a plus
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $41.61/hour - $65.01/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
