What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adobe Customer Journey Analytics position at capgemini?
The Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) Tech Lead is the senior technical authority responsible for building and sustaining Guardian’s enterprise grade marketing analytics foundation on Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Customer Journey Analytics. This role owns the end to end technical design, implementation, and governance of the CJA ecosystem, ensuring data is accurate, scalable, secure, and trusted by business stakeholders.
The Tech Lead plays a critical role in the modernization of Guardian’s marketing measurement landscape—transitioning from fragmented and GA centric analytics toward a unified, future ready data model that supports cross channel journey analysis, attribution, executive reporting, and long term personalization use cases. This includes defining schemas, datasets, identity strategies, ingestion pipelines, and platform standards that can scale as new marketing channels and use cases are introduced.
Beyond hands-on architecture and development, this role provides technical leadership across the program, acting as the primary escalation point for complex data issues, guiding best practices, and ensuring alignment between Guardian’s enterprise architecture standards and Adobe platform capabilities. The Tech Lead works closely with Guardian IT, data governance teams, and Capgemini delivery resources to ensure implementations meet security, compliance, and operational expectations common to regulated insurance environments.
This position is ideal for a technologist who is equally comfortable designing schemas and validating data as they are explaining architectural decisions to senior stakeholders, ensuring the platform not only works technically—but works for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the technical architecture and delivery of Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) and Adobe Experience Platform (AEP)
Design and govern schemas, identity strategy, and data models aligned to current and future use cases

Oversee historical data migration, validation, and quality assurance
Define and enforce governance, data standards, and best practices
Drive performance optimization, troubleshooting, and platform stability
Act as the technical escalation point for complex analytics and data issues
Collaborate closely with the Marketing Reporting Analyst/PM, tagging teams, and dashboard developers
Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to develop resources
Support planning, estimation, and technical roadmap definition for future phases
Required Experience:
8 to 12 years of experience in digital analytics, MarTech, or data engineering roles
4 years hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and/or Customer Journey Analytics (CJA)
Proven experience leading enterprise scale analytics implementations
Strong background working with regulated or security sensitive data environments (e.g., insurance, financial services, healthcare)

Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) – dataset design, metrics, dimensions, attribution models

Experience with consent, usage labeling, and privacy governance within Adobe
Adobe certifications (AEP, CJA, Analytics)
Prior experience in GA4 risk mitigation or GA sunsetting programs
