What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Growth Marketing Manager position at CapCenter?
About CapCenter
CapCenter is a technology-driven mortgage lender headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, offering purchase and refinance mortgage lending with a focus on exceptional borrower experience and operational efficiency. We're building an AI-first marketing engine — and we need someone to lead it.
Role Summary
CapCenter is looking for a Senior Growth Marketing Manager who lives at the intersection of growth marketing and applied AI. You won't just "use AI tools" — you'll architect agentic workflows, deploy autonomous marketing systems, and build the infrastructure that lets a lean team outperform at scale. This is a senior leadership role for a marketer who thinks in systems, builds with AI, and measures everything. You'll own the full-funnel acquisition engine, set the digital marketing roadmap, and serve as the bridge between marketing, sales, and executive leadership.
What You Will Build
- Agentic content pipelines that generate, test, and optimize marketing assets autonomously
- AI-powered lead scoring and routing that connects the right borrower to the right loan officer at the right time
- Automated competitive intelligence systems that surface market shifts before competitors react
- LLM-driven personalization at scale — dynamic email sequences, landing pages, and ad creative tailored to borrower intent
- Predictive analytics models that forecast pipeline, revenue, and campaign performance
- End-to-end marketing automation that runs 24/7 with human-in-the-loop oversight
Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Leadership
- Define and own CapCenter's AI-augmented growth marketing strategy, setting quarterly OKRs aligned with company revenue targets
- Serve as the senior marketing voice in cross-functional leadership discussions — translating business goals into AI-powered marketing plans
- Build, mentor, and manage a growing marketing function — hiring contractors, agencies, or junior team members as the team scales
- Present performance reviews, strategic recommendations, and budget proposals to executive leadership
- Evaluate and champion emerging AI tools, platforms, and methodologies that create competitive advantage
Execution and Optimization
- Architect and oversee multi-channel digital campaigns (paid search, paid social, email, SEO, content) to drive qualified mortgage leads at scale
- Build and deploy agentic workflows that autonomously manage campaign optimization, lead scoring, and content generation
- Own marketing P&L — manage six-figure paid media budgets, optimize spend allocation, and demonstrate ROI to leadership
- Design and optimize end-to-end marketing automation workflows — from lead capture through nurture to conversion
- Lead A/B testing and CRO programs across landing pages, ad creative, email sequences, and full-funnel conversion points
- Drive SEO/content strategy using AI-assisted research, generation, and optimization to build sustainable organic channels
Analytics and Intelligence
- Own marketing analytics and attribution — build AI-enhanced dashboards, define KPIs (CPL, CAC, LTV, conversion rates, ROAS)
- Deploy AI/ML models for predictive lead scoring, LTV forecasting, and multi-touch attribution
- Develop forecasting models that connect marketing activity to pipeline and revenue outcomes
- Coordinate with loan officers and operations to align campaigns with business capacity and market conditions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (MBA or advanced degree a plus)
- 8-12 years of digital marketing experience, with at least 4 years in a senior or leadership role owning full-funnel growth strategy
- Hands-on experience building or managing agentic AI workflows — autonomous agents, multi-step pipelines, or AI-orchestrated marketing systems
- Working knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI application development as applied to marketing
- Proven track record of scaling acquisition channels and managing six-figure marketing budgets with measurable ROI
- Deep proficiency in marketing platforms: Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics (GA4), email/CRM tools (HubSpot or similar)
- Strong experience building and optimizing marketing automation and lead nurture sequences at scale
- Advanced analytical skills — attribution modeling, forecasting, cohort analysis, executive-level reporting
- Excellent copywriting, storytelling, and content strategy skills
- Proven ability to manage vendors, agencies, freelancers, and/or direct reports
- Executive presence — comfortable presenting to C-suite and cross-functional leadership
Preferred
- Mortgage, real estate, or financial services marketing experience
- Experience building AI agents using frameworks like LangChain, CrewAI, Claude, or custom orchestration
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, or similar)
- Knowledge of mortgage compliance and advertising regulations (RESPA, TILA, fair lending)
- Experience building a marketing function or team from the ground up
