Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Mechanic to be based at our Columbus, Ohio facility. In this role, you will work with our Master Mechanic and assist in the maintenance and repair of heavy construction machinery and equipment. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, repairing components, and ensuring equipment operates efficiently and safely. This role requires hands-on work in a dynamic environment and close collaboration with our mechanic and operational staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working on Heavy Construction Equipment
- Experience in equipment Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair procedures
- Strong Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving mechanical/electrical issues
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training is a plus
- Valid driver’s license (CDL is an advantage) and reliable transportation
