Overview

Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, diesel engines, and suspension components.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools to execute repairs efficiently and safely.
- Execute wheel alignments and steering/suspension adjustments to ensure optimal vehicle handling and safety standards.
- Repair or replace automotive electrical components, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and other electronic modules as needed.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical problems.
- Maintain detailed repair records, update auto estimating systems, and communicate repair progress clearly with customers.
Experience
- Proven experience as an automotive technician with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair.
- Hands-on experience working with vehicles or similar makes is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of ADAS calibration, wheel alignment procedures, and diesel engine repair is a plus.
- Familiarity with schematics, automotive electrical systems, transmissions, and powertrain components.
- Service technician experience that demonstrates mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools required for automotive service tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with auto estimating experience to provide transparent communication on repairs needed.
