What are the responsibilities and job description for the Knit EK Operator position at Cap America?
Position Summary:
Operates and maintains knitting machines to produce various styles of knit caps. Fast paced and detail oriented. Maintain highest acceptable quality in process and finished product.
Essential Functions:
- Operate a knit machine to set up product at the best quality possible.
- Carefully reviews paper work for daily orders that include details such as; quantities, colors, due dates, and if any specific notes that may be shown..
- Observe machine operation to detect product defects or machine malfunctions, adjusting machines as necessary.
- Working at a fast pace to ensure daily production goals is met.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications:
- Must have the ability to work closely with other people.
- Must be punctual and have a positive work attitude.
- Detail oriented
- Must be willing to cross-train in various positions.
- Some sitting, standing, walking, lifting (over 75 lbs.), bending, twisting, reaching, stretching, pushing, and pulling required.
