We're looking for a Virtual Design & Construction Project Engineer. You will team up with our VDC Team on ongoing construction projects to help visualize and plan every aspect of the construction project from the design to execution. In this position, you will be using digital tools to create detailed virtual models of buildings and project sites.

We're looking for a Virtual Design & Construction Project Engineer. You will team up with our VDC Team on ongoing construction projects to help visualize and plan every aspect of the construction project from the design to execution. In this position, you will be using digital tools to create detailed virtual models of buildings and project sites.
Responsibilities
- Producing construction and fabrication drawings using Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD for a variety of construction projects.
- Review equipment submittal documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Model electrical equipment and lights based on submittals and check of clearance required.
- Run clash detection reports, maintain BIM Coordination log, and adjust design for clash free model.
- Onsite support for field personnel, when needed, and interfaces with other team leaders, the group manager, project managers, and field supervisors.
- Support VDC Team on ongoing Technology Research and Implementation Programs.
- Attend BIM/VDC Coordination meetings with General Contractor, Design Team and MEP Trades to resolve design conflicts.
- Must have Bachelor's in Construction Management/Engineering or closely related field.
- Detail-oriented and extremely organized, possess outstanding problem-solving skills using a proactive approach, capable of completing assignments with little to no supervision.
- Proficient with and understand computer aided drawing software including Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other similar systems.
- Proficiency required with Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and other online Team Collaboration platforms.
- Knowledge of construction technology, design, applicable codes, standards are a plus.
- 1 years of hands-on experience in VDC/BIM for electrical/MEP systems.
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Revit families is a plus (parametric modeling of electrical components).

Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
