Responsibilities
- Install various types of electrical systems, including wiring, devices, and control panels, according to engineering specifications and compliance with local, state, and national codes.
- Perform regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs of electrical systems to ensure functionality and efficiency. Troubleshoot complex issues "lighting controls/ motor control systems" and make recommendations for system enhancements.
- Conduct detailed testing and commissioning of new and existing electrical systems to ensure they meet all requirements and function correctly.
- Accurately complete all necessary documentation including service reports, testing logs, and compliance forms. Maintain detailed records of all inspections, maintenance, and repairs performed.
- Provide high-quality customer service, offering clear communication and feedback about the status and safety of their systems. Address customer concerns and ensure their satisfaction with the services provided.
- Stay updated with the latest electrical codes and standards. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with NEC standards and other relevant regulations.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Share knowledge and assist in training junior technicians.
- Complete other assigned duties.
- A minimum of 5 years of Journeyman experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of electrical system design, configuration, and operational requirements. Familiarity with various fire alarm panels and devices.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently and effectively, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with use of Phone, Tablet, and computer. Applicant shall be capable of explaining complex systems in an understandable manner.
- High level of attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work in various environments and ascend ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift equipment up to 50 pounds.

Salary : $33 - $37
