Duties
- Provide professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and other modalities tailored to client needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals.
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness.
- Maintain detailed treatment records in compliance with licensing and medical standards.
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to all health and safety protocols, including CPR certification requirements.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment plans, and address questions or discomforts during sessions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or medical personnel when necessary for integrated patient care or pain management strategies.
Skills
- Proven experience in massage therapy with specialization in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments.
- Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess patient needs and tailor treatments accordingly.
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse clients.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to therapeutic practices and patient assessments.
- Ability to perform effective pain management through various massage techniques and client-specific strategies.
- Ability to work around essential oils and plant based products is necessary.
- CPR certification is required to ensure safety during all treatments.

Pay: $75.00 - $125.00 per hour
