Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair styling, cutting, coloring, and texturing services tailored to each client’s preferences and hair type
- Perform specialized treatments such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading with precision and care
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all workstations and tools according to industry regulations
- Utilize salon software like Meevo and Vish for appointment scheduling, client records, and retail sales transactions
- Offer expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail sales to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty using Aveda products
- Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling client communication effectively
- Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in barbering, makeup application, and retail upselling strategies
Skills
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of diverse hair styling techniques
- Expertise in hair coloring, including color theory application for vibrant or subtle results
- Skilled in hair extensions installation and maintenance for natural-looking results
- Knowledge of sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Strong communication skills to understand client needs and provide clear recommendations
- Familiarity with retail principles for upselling products effectively without pressure
