Join our vibrant team as a Canyon River GC Pro-Shop Employee, where your enthusiasm and customer service skills will create memorable experiences for our guests. In this dynamic role, you’ll be the friendly face of the golf shop, managing daily clubhouse operations. These operations include greeting guests, handling retail sales, assisting visitors with merchandise, and booking tee-times. Your proactive approach will be key to delivering exceptional guest service.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, answer phone calls and provide expert assistance with merchandise, equipment rentals, and general golf course information.
- Manage retail sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale), operate the cash register, sell golf gear and clothing, and balance daily cash drawers.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and stock levels of the pro shop and surrounding areas.
- Schedule reservations, check in golfers, and manage player pairings using computer software.
- Flexibility to work outside service on occasion to assist with golf cart barn duties and assisting with food or beverage service when needed.
- Assist with conflict management by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or hospitality environments. Basic understanding of golf terms and etiquette is a plus.
- Strong communication skills for positive guest interaction
- Basic math skills, and comfort using computer systems. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
- Physical ability to perform outdoor activities comfortably, lift light boxes, and stand for over extended periods
- Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
