The full-time merchandiser position is responsible for representing Canyon Distributing in a professional manner as a liaison between the customer and Canyon. Merchandisers ensure that beverage sections, displays, coolers and all points of availability are stocked and maintained with proper product levels.
This position provides daily service to our retail partners, works incoming loads, rotates products, maintains backroom/back stock areas in an orderly fashion, and assists sales force in driving volume sales.
Job requires use of personal vehicle to drive to the accounts on route
Regular reviews with pay adjustments after 6 months and 12 months. Pay will also include vehicle reimbursement.
Requirements:
- Must live in Verde Valley area (Cottonwood, Camp Verde, Clarkdale, or Sedona area)
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Clean driving record and a reliable vehicle for transportation
- High School diploma or GED Equivalent
- Must be at least 19 years of age or older.
- Good interpersonal and public relations skills
- Must be able to perform well with little to no supervision
- Must have solid organizational skills and the ability to work at a fast pace.
- Must be able to lift 35 lbs continuously
- Must be able to follow directions and follow specific Merchandising Standards guidelines.
- Compensation Hourly plus a monthly vehicle reimbursement.
- Canyon Distributing is a drug free workplace and candidates must successfully pass a drug screen prior to being hired.
