What are the responsibilities and job description for the SUMMER CAMP NURSE position at Canyon Creek Summer Camp?
Canyon Creek Summer Camp, a premier summer camp in Southern California, is looking for nurses who are fun, friendly, caring, and will support our mission of giving each camper the individual attention that will make their stay and treatment at camp a positive experience. We highly value our nursing staff at Canyon Creek as your role is imperative to the well-being of our campers and staff. When not in the health center, we encourage our nurses to be a part of our camp community by joining in on the overall camp experience by participating in daily activities, and campfires. Medical staff is provided with private lodging (located adjacent to the health center), all meals, and laundry services. A full-time nurse will receive 2 days off per week. Camp runs for 7 weeks (June 14th - August 1st).
A Registered Nurse (RN) is preferred, however an LVN may be considered. We are looking for a nurse to commit to the entire summer, although partial summers may work depending on availability and need. The environment at CCSC is unlike any other, and we are so excited to expand our camp family this summer!
