What are the responsibilities and job description for the RECREATION SPECIALIST position at Canyon Creek Summer Camp?
Recreation specialists will be in charge of running go-karts, outdoor education, lifeguarding, archery, and ropes course.
Previous experience is preferred, but not necessary as training will be provided. We are looking for responsible, caring, energetic people who have a genuine interest in working with kids to join our Canyon Creek family. The ideal applicant has experience working with children, interested in being a positive role model for children, and is active and enjoys being outside in a nature setting.
Previous camp experience whether attending or working at camp is a plus. Camp runs for 8 weeks (June - August).
Employees will receive $130/day plus room & board amongst other amenities. Canyon Creek also covers transportation costs for any staff traveling from another state or country.
