Overview
We are looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented Front-End Manager to lead our service team and ensure every guest leaves with a smile. As the face of our shop, you won’t just be managing a counter; you’ll be orchestrating the entire customer experience. You will lead a team of "scoopers" through the busiest summer rushes, maintain an impeccably clean storefront, and ensure our ice cream and toppings are always perfectly stocked. This is a hands-on role where your leadership style sets the tone for both the staff and our community.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead by Example: Dive into the line during rushes to model fast, friendly service.
- Develop the Team: Train, and mentor staff to become masters of the scoop and experts in customer care.
- Own the Floor: Manage daily operations, including cash handling, inventory ordering, and health safety standards.
- Cultivate Community: Engage with our regulars and handle guest feedback with grace and a solution-oriented mindset.
Qualifications
- Leadership Background: At least 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a fast-casual restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
- Customer Service Excellence: A proven track record of handling high-volume customer traffic and resolving guest complaints with a positive attitude.
- Cash Handling: Experience managing POS (Point of Sale) systems, reconciling cash drawers, and performing basic retail math.
- Food Safety Certification: A current ServSafe Manager certification (or the local equivalent) is a major plus, as they will be responsible for health code compliance.
- Education: A high school diploma or GED is standard; a degree in business or hospitality management is a bonus but usually not required for this level.
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
