Industrial Sewing Machine Operator / Operador(a) de Máquina de Coser Industrial

Canwil Textiles, located in Auburn, GA, is a family-owned and operated company serving customers for over 30 years. We’re expanding our capabilities in custom textile manufacturing and looking for a qualified, motivated team player to join us.

We’re seeking an experienced industrial sewer with a strong background in the cut-and-sew industry — someone who enjoys problem-solving, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in producing quality work.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 1–2 years of experience sewing heavy fabrics on industrial machines (only)
• Skilled with binding/braid, chain stitching, and other technical sewing applications
• Able to operate multi-needle chain stitch machines
• Understands patterning and construction techniques
• Experience meeting production deadlines and working under pressure
• Fast learner who can retain new skills and techniques
• Experience in a production or shop environment
• Able to seam materials together, hem, attach bindings, sew Velcro, and install grommets
• Basic machine troubleshooting skills
• Can read and use a tape measure accurately
• Team player with good communication skills
• Sewing machine maintenance experience is a plus
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Must have reliable transportation
