Cantor Fitzgerald is seeking a highly motivated Equity Research Associate to join its Crypto/Digital Assets research team in New York City. This is an exceptional opportunity to work alongside a senior analyst covering some of the most influential companies in the sector and to contribute meaningfully to research that informs top institutional investors.
As a key member of the team, you will support the production of in-depth, company-specific and thematic research reports, develop and maintain detailed financial models, conduct industry and company due diligence, and engage with management teams, institutional clients, traders, and sales professionals. The role provides a strong platform for learning, growth, and industry exposure in a fast-paced, intellectually rigorous environment.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation of comprehensive equity research reports on companies within the Industrials & Infrastructure sectors.
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models, forecasts, and valuation analyses.
- Conduct primary and secondary research, including channel checks, expert interviews, and industry analysis.
- Participate in meetings and calls with company management teams and industry experts.
- Collaborate with sales and trading to communicate research findings to institutional clients.
- Attend investor and industry conferences to enhance sector knowledge and relationship-building.
Minimum Requirements:
- Strong academic background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Proven experience or demonstrated ability in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and analytical research.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Intellectual curiosity, persistence, and a proactive, self-starting attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team player who thrives on collaboration and continuous learning.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree required; concentration in business or finance preferred.
- CFA designation or current candidacy is a plus.
- Prior experience (internships or full-time) in equity research, investment banking, or a related financial field is highly desirable.

Salary: $ 100,000 - $175,000
The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
