Responsibilities:
Equity Research Associate to join Cantor’s preeminent biotechnology research team.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join and work directly with Senior Research analysts. The team will
- Analyze individual biotech companies and market trends, composing company-specific and thematic research reports
- Build and maintain financial models
- Interview physicians and Key Opinion Leaders across various disease areas
- Conduct deep scientific and clinical due diligence
- Conduct scientific literature reviews
- Interact with Cantor’s institutional sales force, traders, and investment clients

Educational Qualifications:
- An exceptional academic pedigree, including a graduate degree in life-sciences (a Ph.D. and/or M.D. is highly preferred).
- Candidates should have clear demonstration of outstanding academic achievement.
- Demonstrated interest in coursework related to economics/business/finance is also preferred.

Salary: $100,000 - $ 175,000
The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
