Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Independently prepare regulatory reports and documentation.
- Collaborate with various departments to implement and maintain compliance.
- Develop procedures and training manuals for compliance processes.
- Respond and research high level inquiries from internal teams and regulatory authorities regarding compliance matters.
- Conduct regular reviews of mortgage files to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Keep abreast of changes in mortgage laws and regulations and communicate updates to relevant teams.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 4-6 years proven experience in mortgage compliance, processing and/or underwriting within the financial industry.
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations, including but not limited to RESPA, TILA, TRID, NMLS Call Report, HMDA, and Fair Lending.
- Filing regulatory reports including the NMLS Call Report, HMDA, and Fair Lending.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite, QuestSoft, NContracts, and other relevant mortgage software.
- Competitive salary of $24-37/hour depending on experience.
