This role reviews closed loan files, submits insurance packages to government agencies, resolves deficiencies, and ensures compliance with investor and agency guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Review closed mortgage loan files for accuracy and compliance with FHA, VA, and USDA guidelines.
- Prepare and submit insuring packages and case binders within required agency timelines.
- Process FHA Mortgage Insurance Certificates (MIC), VA Loan Guaranty Certificates (LGC), USDA guarantees
- Utilize agency systems including FHA Connection, VA WebLGY, and USDA platforms.
- Audit final closing documents for completeness and regulatory compliance.
- Resolve insuring suspensions, rejected submissions, and post-endorsement deficiencies.
- Monitor aging pipelines and follow up on outstanding conditions or documentation.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting for audits, QC reviews, and investor requirements.
- Coordinate with post-closing, underwriting, closing, servicing, and title departments to resolve issues.
- Stay current on HUD, VA, USDA, Ginnie Mae, and investor guideline changes.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Meet departmental productivity, quality, and turnaround time standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-3 years of mortgage post-closing or government-insuring experience preferred.
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA, HUD, and agency guidelines.
- Experience with Loan Origination Systems (LOS).
- Familiarity with FHA Connection, VA WebLGY, and USDA systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of MERS, collateral, trailing documents, and shipping processes.
- Experience handling post-endorsement corrections and audit responses.
- Ability to analyze complex documentation and resolve discrepancies independently.
