We are seeking a highly skilled IT Help Desk Specialist with a strong background in aerospace manufacturing IT environments and proven knowledge of CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) and NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) frameworks. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of professional experience providing technical support, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards, and supporting mission-critical systems in a regulated industry.
\n- Provide first- and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across the organization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents in a timely manner, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Maintain compliance with CMMC and NIST 800-171 requirements in daily IT operations.
- Support systems used in aerospace manufacturing, including ERP, MES, and CAD/CAM applications.
- Assist with audits, documentation, and reporting related to cybersecurity and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with IT security teams to enforce security policies and procedures.
- Train and support end-users on secure IT practices and compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, tickets, and resolutions in help desk systems.
- Able to support on-site full-time in Ontario, CA.
- Occasional travel to alternate site in Riverside, CA.
- Minimum 5 years of IT help desk or technical support experience in a regulated industry (aerospace preferred).
- Strong knowledge of CMMC compliance levels and NIST cybersecurity standards.
- Experience supporting IT systems in manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency with Windows, Linux, and network troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, Cloud-based, and endpoint security tools.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Prior experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing IT support.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security , Network , CISSP, or CMMC Assessor.
- Experience with ERP/MES systems and CAD/CAM software support.
- Knowledge of ITIL practices and help desk ticketing systems.
ITAR REQUIREMENTS:
To conform to US Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a US Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
