The Human Resources Generalist will play a key role in supporting the full employee lifecycle within a dynamic, high-growth aerospace manufacturing environment. This individual will partner cross-functionally with leadership and operations to ensure effective HR operations, compliance, and employee engagement.
The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, a strong understanding of California employment law, and the ability to balance administrative execution with employee-facing support. This role requires discretion, sound judgment, and the ability to operate both independently and collaboratively in a production-driven setting.
\n- Administer end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire orientation and exit interviews
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records within HRIS systems
- Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and employee inquiries
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions related to HR policies, procedures, and programs
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on employment law, company policies, and HR best practices
- Assist in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures
- Participate in employee relations matters, including workplace investigations and conflict resolution
- Ensure compliance with federal, state (California), and local employment laws and regulations
- Generate reports and analyze HR metrics to support business decisions
- Support ad hoc HR initiatives and projects aligned with business objectives
- Assist in planning and executing employee engagement activities and events
- Partner with operations leadership to support workforce needs in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in an HR Generalist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of HR operations and California employment law
- Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to evolving business priorities and organizational structures
- Experience partnering closely with leadership in a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves environment
- Experience supporting manufacturing, aerospace, or defense environments is a plus
- Experience with UKG Ready
- Experience supporting organizational change, including growth initiatives, restructuring, or integration efforts
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Total compensation will also include a comprehensive set of benefits including but not limited to: Company paid employee medical, dental and vision insurance. Retirement plan participation (eligibility required), paid sick leave, paid vacation, paid holidays and discretionary bonuses.
