Position Summary
The Assistant Fixed Operations Manager – Apparel & Parts supports the Fixed Operations team by driving sales performance, merchandising excellence, employee development, and exceptional customer experiences within the Apparel (Motorclothes) and Parts departments. This role is highly visible on the dealership floor and is responsible for creating an engaging retail environment that reflects the Harley-Davidson brand, increases customer engagement, and maximizes department profitability.
The ideal candidate is a passionate motorcycle enthusiast, strong retail leader, and hands-on manager who can coach teams, execute merchandising strategies, improve processes, and maintain a premium dealership experience.
What You'll Do:
- Maintain a strong leadership presence across the showroom, Motorclothes, and Parts departments
- Lead, coach, and develop team members to improve sales performance, product knowledge, and customer engagement
- Drive sales growth through effective merchandising, promotions, and retail execution
- Monitor and improve key performance metrics including revenue, gross profit, average ticket, and accessory attachment rates
- Ensure all displays, product placement, and showroom presentation reflect Harley-Davidson brand standards
- Support daily operations across Motorclothes and Parts, including inventory, organization, and customer interactions
- Assist with merchandising plans, floor sets, seasonal transitions, and product launches
- Partner with leadership to execute sales strategies, events, and dealership initiatives
- Analyze customer traffic and behavior to optimize layout and sales opportunities
- Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training of associates
- Resolve customer concerns and deliver a premium Harley-Davidson experience
- Collaborate across departments to drive dealership performance and customer loyalty
